The path from the trail down to the arch was steep, but there were numerous bolts and flexible rails to help steady my descent. Cynny questioned my sanity, but after climbing to the top of Skozno Mountain, I was certainly going to try to get into the arch. It turned out that the arch is part of a cave system with a number of openings and caves to explore. They were quite wet and slippery with steep drops, so I didn't go too deep. There is an extensive trail system on the mountain including a path to the cottage settlement of Trpinovšče and one to a paragliding platform beneath the village of Trnovo.
